Prosperous Era

These days, a shamanic people led by the sage Keria live in the wild lands of northern Emeldarion. They cultivate plants and raise animals, all attuned to and nourished by the element of Fire. Scorch are small igneous lizards that help preserve the aquatic ecosystem. They feed on pollutants found in the water, whether mineral or plant-based. The lizards dry them inside their large mouths, then burn them in their stomachs. This unusual digestive process can cause fiery burps.
